Bach Festival Program IV: Happy 350th Birthday Charleston

The Bach Society of Charleston celebrates the 350th anniversary of the Charles Towne Landing with Bach Festival 2020, honoring Charleston’s founding in music. “Program IV: Happy Birthday Charleston” features festive compositions by Bach, Handel, and Lully. The works will be performed by Charleston Baroque Voices and Orchestra, featuring period instruments, conducted by Bach Society of Charleston Artistic Director Ricard Bordas, who also sings as countertenor. The concert begins at 3 pm, March 8th at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church in Charleston.
