In her exhibit, Ode to Joy, North Charleston’s October-December 2025 Artist-in-Residence Jennifer York presents papercuts and intricate dioramas crafted from vintage suitcases and mirrors. York blends observation and imagination in the featured works, inspired by travel, her coastal surroundings, and her residency in North Charleston. Ode to Joy invites viewers into her luminous world of paper, line, and light—where beauty and storytelling intertwine. A free reception will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, January 10.
