Argent Celebrates the Art of Smarter Workwear for Women

Furman alumna Sali Christeson and business partner Eleanor Turner will present Argent, an exhibition of women’s workwear, October 20 – November 10 in Thompson Gallery, Roe Art Building, on the campus of Furman University in Greenville. Argent is a collective on a mission to make clothing that equips women to push the envelope and take their seat at the table. Describing their philosophy, the founders say, “We’re into those who take charge, make noise, and drop-kick the glass ceiling.” The entrepreneur/designer team will present a talk about their clothing brand during a reception October 20 from 6-8 p.m.  The exhibition is also open Saturday, October 21, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Regular Thompson Gallery hours are M-F, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.
