Arts Daily / Andy Warhol Portraits & The Everyday Exhibit

Andy Warhol Portraits & The Everyday Exhibit

Andy Warhol Portraits & The Everyday seeks to demonstrate Warhol’s creative process through a selection of works inspired by people, places and everyday experiences the artist captured through his daily photographic efforts. The exhibition showcases Warhol’s Polaroid portraits, black and white photographs, and a handful of screen prints on loan to the Lee Gallery from the collections of the University of South Carolina Upstate and East Tennessee State University. The collections were gifted to USC Upstate and ETSU through the Andy Warhol Photographic Legacy Program. The exhibition is on view January 22  – March 6 at the Center for Visual Arts at Clemson University.
