An Evening in the 1800’s
The Aiken County Historical Museum invites you to an Evening in the 1800’s, October 17th. You can enjoy a glass of wine/beer and hors d’oeuvres as you sit back and listen to music from Cathy Benedetto, and travel to the Victorian era with author, storyteller, and living historian Kim Poovey. Catered by The Deft Chef. All proceeds are tax deductible and go to the Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor to find a cure for ET. Essential Tremor is the largest movement disorder in the world and is 10 times larger than Parkinson’s. ET is a progressive neurological condition that causes a rhythmic trembling of the hands, head, voice, legs, or trunk. Over 10 million Americans, including children, and millions more worldwide have ET.
