Aiming for Freedom at Goodall Gallery

Reception and Exhibition

Celebrate a powerful display of contemporary art, Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Goodall Gallery from 5 to 7 p.m.

Sculpture, fiber, and painted works offer a thoughtful examination of race, reparations, and the right paths to making new and freer worlds alongside a selection of local art, curated by Tabitha Ott, which emerges alongside Aiming for Freedom. This event directs viewers to examine conceptual threads that cross differences (both real and imagined).

We invite community members to Goodall Gallery for light refreshments, public discussion, and comradery. Informal conversations with the curators will start at approximately 6 p.m.

We hope to see you at the gallery!
