Advanced Slab Building (January/February 2023)

This seven-week class is designed for continuing education of adults with the knowledge and techniques associated with slab building.

Some of the skills that will be taught:

• Advanced Construction Techniques
• Knowledge of next step tools
• Pattern making
• Layering of glazes
• Introduction to cold finishes

Five weeks building; two weeks finishing.

Requirements:

• Students must have basic tool kit plus several advanced tools (Bevel cutter, scoring tool, extra knife and carving tools)
• Students must have completed a hand building class

Class meets Wednesdays, January 4-February 15, 2023. Register by December 28, 2022.
