Across the Water with Columbia Baroque: “The River Thames”

Columbia Baroque welcomes special guest artist Danny Jenkins, countertenor, for  “The River Thames,” music composed and performed in London featuring solo and duet opera arias by Handel, Vivaldi and Monteverdi; “Sound the Trumpet” by Purcell; and instrumental chamber music performed by the ensemble. Columbia Baroque ensemble performers are Brittnee Siemon, mezzo soprano; Jean Hein, Baroque recorders; Erika Cutler, Baroque violin; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba; and Jerry Curry, harpsichord. A Pre-Concert Talk will be given by Sarah Williams at 7:00 p.m. with the Concert beginning at 7:30 p.m., September 4 at the USC School of Music.
