Across the Water with Columbia Baroque: “The Rhine”
Embark on a journey to one of the grand rivers of Europe as Columbia Baroque presents music of the great German headliners – J.S. Bach, Telemann and Buxtehude – plus music performed in cities along the Rhine. The program features solos by each member of the ensemble, October 30th in the Concert Hall of Spears Center for the Arts at Columbia College. Performers for the evening are Brittnee Siemon, mezzo soprano; Jean Hein, Baroque recorder; Mary Hostetler Hoyt, Baroque violin; Gail Ann Schroeder, viola da gamba; and Jerry Curry, harpsichord. The Pre-Concert Talk will be given by Peter Hoyt at 7:00 p.m. prior to the 7:30 p.m.performance.
