A Reading by Sonya Huber
Sonya Huber brings her reflections on health care, government, economics and politics to the CCU stage with a reading from her work. Huber is the author of five books, including three works of creative nonfiction: Opa Nobody (2008), Cover Me: A Health Insurance Memoir (2010), and the essay collection Pain Woman Takes Your Keys: Essays on Pain and Imagination (forthcoming in 2017). Huber teaches at Fairfield University and directs Fairfield’s Low-Residency MFA Program. The discussion will take place October 20th at 5:30 p.m. in the Johnson Auditorium at Coastal Carolina University. Free.
