A Hands Width: Photographs by Anderson Wrangle
Clemson University Center for Visual Arts presents A Hands Width: Photographs by Anderson Wrangle, on view June 3rd through September 1st in the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities Dean’s Gallery. Wrangle’s photographs document his investigation of balanced and constructed objects around his outdoor studio, confronting the physical limitations of the hand and what it is capable of making. Precariously positioned and exposed to the elements, the longevity of these constructions is also limited. The works challenge the viewer’s perceptions and ask if the meanings we embrace are also limited and constructed. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
