2016 Young Women in Art Exhibition

The Converse College Art and Design Department will sponsor its 6th juried high school show, Young Women in Art, on view March 7-19 in the Milliken Art Gallery, on campus in Spartanburg. This exhibition will focus on 2-D and 3-D work produced by female high school students in grades 9-12. The goal of the exhibition is to help students begin preparation for a major in art while still in high school. A closing day reception will feature an awards ceremony to celebrate the artwork in the exhibition. Admission is free. Gallery hours are 9:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday-Friday and 2:00-5:00 pm, Sunday. The Gallery is closed during school holidays.
