2015 Lands End Woodland River Festival

Lands End Woodland River Festival is a Labor Day weekend event celebrating Gullah culture, food and the arts on the historic site of the former Riverside Plantation on St. Helena Island. Visitors can enjoy a “Caribbean Night” reggae music and fish fry on September 4th from 5:00-11:00 p.m., and an all-day festival on September 5th from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Saturday’s Center Stage will feature storyteller Aunt Pearlie Sue & the Gullah Kinfolk Singers, African dancers and drummers, musicians, choirs, a puppet show, hand-made arts and crafts, historical tours, Lowcountry seafood and barbeque, and other vendors. Presented by the Lands End Woodland, Inc., St. Helena Island, SC (6 miles south of Penn Center).
