Participants will engage in immersive, collaborative arts experiences in drama, music, writing, and visual arts. Interested families can register to attend by June 24 at SCGSAH.org/coastal-creatives.

Under the theme “Connect and Collaborate as We Amplify the Arts,” Coastal Creatives will offer a transformative experience that inspires young minds to use the arts as a powerful tool for problem solving and creative expression. Activities will include drama games, rhythm exercises, creative writing workshops, and watercolor painting. As a Governor’s School outreach program, no prior arts experience is required, making this an inclusive opportunity for all interested students.

  • Coastal Creatives will take place on the Conway Campus of Horry-Georgetown Technical College (2050 Highway 501 East, Conway).
  • The only cost to participate is $50, and this includes lunch and all necessary materials.
    • Financial assistance is available for eligible students.

For more information and to register, please visit SCGSAH.org/coastal-creatives and/or contact the Office of Outreach at 864.282.4158 for questions.
