Artists invited to free workshop about jobs, opportunities and grants

Artists in all disciplines looking for jobs, opportunities, grants and professional development are invited to attend a presentation about the free and low-cost national services and resources offered by Artspire and the New York Foundation for the Arts. This free presentation is being held Aug. 1 from noon until 2 p.m. at the Nickelodeon Theatre, located at 1607 Main Street in Columbia.

Courtney Harge, program officer for fiscal sponsorship from Artspire, will present on Artspire/NYFA’s resources, fundraising and support programs available nationwide for artists at every stage in their careers. The presentation includes time for Q&A and follow up with session participants.

The presentation is geared to individual artists across disciplines and small/emerging arts organizations. Visual, performing, literary artists, musicians and filmmakers are all encouraged to attend.
