Artist-entrepreneurs: grants for business ventures!
If you’re a South Carolina artist working to develop a new arts-based business venture or alter an existing venture, you may qualify for an Artists’ Ventures Initiative grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission. AVI grants are designed to encourage the creation of business ventures that provide career satisfaction and sustainability for artists. Individuals and collaboratives may be awarded up to $5,000.The Artists’ Ventures Initiative grant program is a two-part process, with letters of intent due December 13, 2013.
