Additional text says, "Be a part of the largest tour of farm and market sites in the nation while selling & showcasing your handcrafted items."It gets bigger every year.

The largest tour of farm and market sites in the entire country spreads to 22 S.C. counties in 2025. We know agriculture is a critical industry for the state economy, and we know it is critical to our own physical well-being. (The Hub enjoys a fresh, #CertifiedSC farm-to-table meal.)

But the reason it’s on our radar year after year is that they incorporate the arts to make this annual event the popular thing that it is!

The South Carolina Ag + Art Tour is a free, self-guided tour of farms and farmers markets, and it features local artisans at every stop. And every year, they put out a call for South Carolina artisans. If you are an artist, craftsman, weaver, wood carver, sculptor, painter, musician, potter, candle maker, quilter, soap maker, baker, jewelry maker, or any other artisan of handmade goods—they want to hear from you. You can set up shop at a farm in your county, or perhaps a neighboring county, and support your arts-based business by selling to the many, many visitors who come through in May and June.

As a participating South Carolina Ag + Art Artisan, you are asked to agree to:

  • Participate during the designated time/hours of the tour.
  • Engage visitors through demonstrations and/or performances.
  • Connect with your tour site prior to the tour to introduce yourself and plan your set-up.
  • Promote the tour using the tour brand guide.
