A3C Action – a national competition to use art, music and hip hop to advance change
Hurry! Application deadline is July 24!
A3C Festival & Conference and the Center for Civic Innovation are seeking applications for A3C Action, a national competition for ideas that use art, music, and hip hop culture as a vehicle to advance social justice and civic engagement in underserved communities. This includes ideas like an art-based curriculum for homeless youth in Atlanta and a program in Philadelphia that pairs up law enforcement officials with recently incarcerated youth to make films together.
Applications are now open for ideas, initiatives, and programs across the United States and close on July 24, 2016.
Five finalists will be flown to Atlanta in October 2016 for the A3C Festival and Conference, where they will attend a business development boot camp and pitch their idea to a national audience. The finalists will compete for more than $10,000 in cash and in-kind contributions and have opportunities for networking and partnership development.
