Native American Studies Center

USC Lancaster’s Native American Studies Center opened in October 2012, the only Native American Studies Program in the USC system.  The center features 6,000 square feet of gallery space, an oral history recording studio, a Catawba language lab, an archive with photos, documents and recordings of South Carolina tribes and an archaeology lab.  It houses the world’s largest collection of Catawba pottery.
