Sharing the Chores: Works on Paper by Jonathan Green
Sharing the Chores: Works on Paper by Jonathan Green is on display in McKissick Museum’s North Gallery June 16 – August 4. This limited engagement is an opportunity to experience the vibrant color choices and bold imagery for which Green has become famous. Inspired by his experiences growing up in the Carolina Lowcountry, the artist’s images reflect the values he learned in childhood from his family and neighbors in the rural community of Gardens Corner. Consisting of 12 hand-drawn lithographs, one serigraph, and multiple objects from McKissick’s permanent collections, this show is a must-see for any Jonathan Green fan. Free.
