Quilting for the Holidays

Columbia Art Center offers Quilting for the Holidays Wednesdays October 2 – November 6. Using holiday themed fabrics, participants will create a traditional log cabin block with two variations – a Christmas tree skirt or a decorative holiday wall hanging. This project can also be made using homespun or favorite quilting fabrics. Classes will include techniques to build the log cabin blocks, color placement, easy quilting techniques and several methods to finish with binding. This class is for the confident beginner with sewing experience, knowledge of the use of a sewing machine and rotary cutter and mat. A supply list will be sent to participants. Fee of $40 includes instruction and operating costs. Class size limited to minimum of 3 and maximum of 10.
