North Charleston City Hall Exhibit–Joanna Biondolillo
The City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department presents the work of local photographer Joanna Biondolillo July 2 – September 30 at North Charleston City Hall. Biondolillo embarked on a photo documentary journey examining the state of homelessness in the United States. For 13 months she traveled from Miami to Seattle, conducting interviews, sharing stories, and taking portraits of the many homeless Americans she befriended. The culmination of her experience is an exhibition titled When I Was A Child, a collection of portraits that share the hopes and dreams of her homeless subjects. Free admission and parking.
