Furman University Department of Art Hosts Photography Exhibition
The Furman University Department of Art presents “Re-vision: New Directions in Traditional Genres” January 17th – February 21st in the Thompson Gallery on the Greenville campus. Having met at the Flash Powder Photography residency in 2015, four contemporary artists — Furman faculty member Terri Bright, Adam Reynolds (Columbus, Ind.), Ivette Spradlin (Pittsburgh, Pa.), and Mike Tittel (Cincinnati, Ohio) — reconsider traditional themes and approaches to photography. The bodies of work represent the genres of still life, portraiture, documentary and street photography, all thoughtfully explored and reimagined. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Free admission.
