Furman University alumna Jazmin Black Grollemund performs in Faculty Chamber Music Series

Furman University alumna and soprano Jazmin Black Grollemund will perform January 12 at 8 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall on the Furman campus in Greenville. Performing for the first time on campus since her 2010 graduation, Black Grollemund will give the South Carolina premiere of The White Album, a song cycle by Furman music professor Mark Kilstofte that was commissioned by the Fromm Music Foundation of Harvard University. Black Grollemund received degrees in vocal performance and opera at Furman and Maryland Opera Studio. She won first prize at the Aiken Performing Arts Masterclass Competition where she appeared in concert with Frederica von Stade. Tickets $5 – $15.
