For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf

The Winthrop University Department of Theatre and Dance presents For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf by Ntozake Shange, February 12th through 16th in Johnson Theatre, on campus in Rock Hill. A sisterhood of seven women share their stories through dramatic prose poetry, music, and movement. Told in vivid language, their experiences resound with fearless beauty and unity, despite exposing the unending challenges and oppression that women of color face every day.
