Don’t Cry for Me Margaret Mitchell

Electric City Playhouse in Anderson presents Don’t Cry for Me, Margaret Mitchell April 14-23. In the spring of 1939, while the movie public is anxiously awaiting the release of Gone with the Wind, producer David O. Selznick realizes the script is a dud. He calls on screenwriter Ben Hecht to save the day but, unfortunately, Hecht never read the book. With only a week before filming resumes, Selznick locks himself in his office with Hecht and director Victor Fleming to re-write the script. Directed by Stuart Adamo and Paul Hyde.
