Columbia City Ballet presents Cinderella

Columbia City Ballet presents a story of love, jealousy, and fine footwear in the fairy tale Cinderella, with Sergei Prokofiev’s music performed live by the South Carolina Philharmonic under the direction of Morikiko Nakahara. The production features lush scenery and the comic roles of the stepsisters performed en travesty (literally “disguised” in French). Performances are March 28th at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Koger Center for the Arts in Columbia.

Please join us for a Princess Tea Party - Columbia City Ballet

A pre-performance Princess Tea Party for children offers a sit-down tea, cakes, cookies and lots of surprises including appearances by the lead characters themselves. Participants can learn the ballet’s story while they enjoy tea time activities and have their picture taken with the Columbia City Ballet artists.
