An Artist’s Path in Retrospect: Solo Exhibition by Susan B. Wooten
The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University presents An Artist’s Path in Retrospect, a solo exhibition by Susan B. Wooten, Senior Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, Vice Provost, and Professor of Art. The exhibition will feature various pieces across her journey as an artist, spanning a trajectory of over 40 years. Her art, composed of pencil drawings and watercolor paintings, is characterized by the variation in light, color, and forms found in landscape. Wooten has presented her art in over 50 exhibitions and has pieces selected for regional and national art exhibitions. The gallery will be open in Thrift Library’s Vandiver Gallery from October 24 to December 14 with a gallery talk by Professor Wooten October 25 at 6 p.m.
