An American Qur’an: Exploring Religion in Contemporary American Art

The University of South Carolina Upstate highlights artwork by American artist Sandow Birk as part of a program exploring art and religion in the United States. The exhibit, An American Qur’an: Exploring Religion in Contemporary American Art, runs from November 1st through December 6th at the Curtis R. Harley Gallery on USC Upstate’s main campus in Spartanburg. The program is sponsored by USC Upstate, Wofford College, and South Carolina Humanities.
